BIRTH PREPARATION
ABOUT HYPNOBIRTHING
Hypnobirthing is a system of birth preparation which is overflowing with common sense. It has become massively popular over it's 30 year history simply because it works. It also appears to have a substantial repelling force-field around it because people hear the 'hypno' bit and think "Uh Oh, hippy alert" and swerve towards more 'traditional' ante-natal education.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! You're probably feeling excited and a tad nervous? Possibly wishing you could go back (or forward) in time? Maybe you know whether you're having a boy or girl ... and have started a list of names? And then there's the small matter of giving birth! You really want the birth of your baby to be something you'll love to remember BUT it seems like horror stories are everywhere and it's pretty scary?

YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE! I'm a highly experienced hypnobirthing teacher, hypnotherapist and psychotherapist (who has also trained other therapists) and a mum of 3 - so you're in very safe hands! On my birth preparation courses I mix the most useful bits from 'traditional' antenatal classes with a thorough training in the tried-and-tested hypnobirthing skillset. If you want your birth to be a positive and empowering experience then the combination of ...
-
lots of practical knowledge
-
a rigorous training in relaxation skills, and
-
an uber-prepared birth companion
...will help you achieve the best possible birth
PARENTING COURSE
THERAPY
The name is a bit misleading. Instead of being told "how to parent" think of it as learning an ingenious system of communication for any age and relationship.

Using the structure of the brilliant Parent Effectiveness Training model you'll learn counselling skills, life skills and relationship skills, including how to:
-
Have really effective two-way communication
-
Understand your child's behaviour
-
Respond constructively to negative emotions (your own as well as theirs)
-
Resolve conflict so nobody feels they've 'lost'
-
Help your children solve their own problems
-
Build strong relationships
-
Recognise and effectively express your own needs

Equally sanity-saving for toddlers or teens!
